Starting the Journey

Hey there, welcome to the start of this publication. The idea behind this is to document my journey with using the Teenage Engineering OP-Z. I am completely inexperienced and haven’t created music since I was at school. My motivation for getting into the OP-Z is to learn something new and something completely away from my “normal” interests.

I have been interested in Teenage Engineering with their introduction of the OP-1 and have been a distant admirer of their product design and what they do.

What I want to achieve is to be able to make music which I would listen to, music I could work or relax to and have the confidence to just jump on the device and create something. My side perspective is that I want people to see that really anything is possible and you can do anything you put your mind to.
